Transitional Housing Project at Pok Oi Kong Ha Wai Village (Phase 1 & 2)

Location and Environment

Kong Ha Wai is currently the largest transitional housing development in Hong Kong as well as the biggest residential project to adopt the Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) method. It will provide about 2000 transitional housing units upon completion.

Provisions	Each unit will be equipped with a bathroom with toilet and a cooking area.
Funding Scheme	Funding Scheme to Support Transitional Housing Projects by Non-government Organisations (A grant of $1,098.9 million has been approved.)
Date of Commencement of Works	Phase 1: 23 March 2021 Phase 2: 1 September 2021
Date of Completion	Phase 1: April 2022 Phase 2: December 2022
Date of Intake	Phase 1: May 2022 Phase 2: January 2023
Operation Period	Estimated to be not less than 5 years
